Architect/Senior Application Engineer with at least 10 years experience in deploying e commerce sites and SaaS Implementation. Job Requirements • Solid understanding of the entire software engineering process, including requirement analysis, design, scheduling, implementation, review, quality assurance, issue tracking, source control, version control and deployment. • Must have worked on Ruby on Rails web stack both from release and troubleshooting point of view. Able to reverse engineering and have an experience in instrument proactive monitoring or able to write a code and plug-in to monitoring tools. • Extensive experience with database systems like MySQL or SQLand APIs (ODBC, JDBC) a plus. Proven track record of delivering results Excellent working knowledge of UNIX Script, C# and Java Strong task management skillsStrong communication skills Significant experience working as part of a sales driven deployment team Analytical thinker Ability to review data, summarize key findings and recommend solutions. • Strong troubleshooting skills with Java, tomcat, Apache & J2EE environment and able to automate and use any scripting experience in Redhat environment. • Experience in design, implementation, deployment, and tuning of scalable, high availability and high performance application environments. • Expertise in a broad variety of application technologies (apache, tomcat, load balancing, memcache, etc). • Must have a application monitoring tools experience in configuring and instrumentation based on application needs. • Expertise around Linux and Windows computing environments and common flavors (Red Hat, CentOS) • Knowledge of and experience with a broad range of Application Servers, Web Servers, Messaging Servers, Database Servers. • Deep understanding of key system scalability concerns: threading, load balancing, partitioning, replication, etc. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Excellent ability to write architectural design documents. • 10 years of experience with large scale application clusters in production data centers • Experience BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Thanks & Regards sandi Recruiter G Technologies Inc. 4340 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129.
