NET Developer - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $100K - $110K / Year

Hedge Fund 
In this hands-on position, develop and implement software solutions
supporting the business unit(s). The applications will range across the
entire breadth of the Capital Markets Group, including both transaction
processing and integration systems. The position reports to Head of
Capital Markets Information Technology 

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,
Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience. 

Qualified candidates will have the following experience: 
* 5+ years working in Information Technology 
* 3+ years developing enterprise applications on the .NET framework;
Services, Dlls, XML integration 
* 3+ years working with enterprise web solution frameworks such as
ASP.net (MVC2), Ajax, and similar 
* 3+ years working with .net web services, WCF and other distributed
development tools 
* 3+ years with 3-tier client/server system design 
* 3+ years with SQL Server development (proficiency with T-SQL, writing
stored procedures.) 
* 3+ years object-oriented analysis and design 
* Understanding of Object Relational Mapping (ORM) (Linq to SQL, Entity
Framework) 


The following experience is highly desirable: 

* Financial services industry experience 
* Experience working with large XML files 
* Understanding of advanced frameworks and design patterns: WPF,
Silverlight, MVC 
* Understanding of Microsoft and Business Objects BI Technologies: SSIS,
SSAS, SSRS, Universes, Web Intelligence 

Qualified candidates will have the following additional skills: 
* Experience implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) within 
Agile development environments 
* Proven track record of systems delivery 
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
