Leadership skills Systems admin rek Responsibilities · Work closely with System Engineering, Networking Engineering and Development teams on the design and implementation of application components · Work closely with other operations teams to identify and deliver utilities for enhancing the reliability and manageability of application components · Perform on-call support by providing immediate responses to high priority requests for assistance by the 24/7 Operations teams. · Provide after hours and weekend support as needed · Train Operations personnel on applications and system procedures · Be able to document and / or assist in documenting application logic, process flows, and configurations. · Establish and follow a structured methodology for implementing system changes, configuration modifications and application upgrades · Participate in the ongoing processes of investigating, analyzing and providing long term resolutions to technical issues *Required* · Degree in Computer Science or a related technical or scientific field or related, equivalent experience · Over 7 years of hands on experience in administration of web applications running on Linux · Understanding of multiple core technologies, including IP networking, DNS, Firewall Rules, load balancing and various internet technologies .
