These applications generate pricing and risk measurement data for the asset and liability trades used in Fannie Mae’s Portfolio. Key Job Funtions & Duties: The candidate is expected to: • Participate actively in requirements, design, implementation, testing and application deployment of Java-based applications. • Support the day-to-day operations of the market room resolving any issues related to data applications. • Work independently or as part of a team. • Understand current business processes and workflow, and find ways to automate and improve them. Qualifications: • BS or MS in Computer Science, Applied Math or equivalent field with three or more years of professional experience in software development. • Knowledge of Java language and understanding of various Java related technologies, such as Java EE and Swing. • Experience with object-oriented analysis and design techniques. • Experience with XML and related technologies. • Experience with relational SQL databases such as Oracle and Sybase. • Familiarity with financial industry, fixed income modeling, mathematical or quantitative models a plus. • Experience with software industry standards and frameworks, such as Spring, Struts, Ant, JUnit, Unix/Linux and scripting languages a plus* Thanks & Regards sandi Recruiter G Technologies Inc. 4340 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129.
