*Job Title : Oracle DBA* *Location : Schaumburg,IL* *Duration :6- 12 Months* *Local is always preferable or in and around Chicago so that they can come for Face to Face.* * * *Description :* ** ** *This is a new project that the database specialist would be on and then they would envision this person being 50% of their time on the project and then 50% of their time helping the other groups out on the database. There is a DBA team at the client so setting up the Database is not required, this person would need to liaison with the DBA team and earn their trust to get more access. The key role will be to work alongside the developers to help structure data files, help design and construct to improve performance of system, stored procedure calls, etc. Oracle 10g, Java, Hibernate is preferred. SQL calls made to hibernate, knowing if the performance issues are from the Hibernate side or the Oracle side. 30 million records in this Audit data, so the apps are tapping into this data.
