Minimum 4 years performing Business Systems Analysis, performing duties such as requirements elicitation and documentation, process and data analysis, process and data modeling, creating and executing test plans, functional specifications. At least one year of this experience must be on a Java-based, web application project. 4 yrs. 2. Minimum two years experience with relational database design and modeling. 2 yrs. 3. Minimum two years experience in Technical Writing performing duties such as the creation of system, technical and user documentation, and of training materials. 2 yrs. 4. Minimum 2 years experience in Application System development projects which use a formal System Development Life Cycle with specific tasks and distinct deliverables. 2 yrs. 5. Minimum 1 year hands-on experience using the Rational suite of products including Requisite Pro, Rational Rose, Clear Quest and Test Manager. 1 yr. Desirable Skills 1. 3 years Business Analyst experience in large corporate or government agency. 2. Exposure to transportation industry capital project management practices. 3. Thorough understanding of project management software. 4. Experience with and understanding of Primavera project management software. 5. Strong experience in Logical Data and Process Modeling. 6. Strong experience with UML and the use case format of documenting functionality requirements. 7. Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP). 8. Experience with Business Objects. 9.
