This is a contract to hire position. Qualified candidate must be a Sr. ETL Developer (Microsoft Platform) Under general supervision, codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Responsibilities: · Support the development of Data Warehouse ETL/BI software programs. · Use customer requirements to improve functionality (speed, performance / usability). · Assist in the design and maintenance of DW ETL/BI software applications. · Unit test, troubleshoot customer issues and correct software defects. · Standardize the quality assurance procedure for DW ETL/BI software. · Coordinate the installation of new software systems, train staff on how to use software and provide ongoing support. · Will have to solve highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects. · Assist with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills. · Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of software DW ETL/BI development. · Provide coaching to junior-level employees. · Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills: MUST HAVE: · 3+ yrs experience with Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (DW/BI) technical solutions and implications. · 3+ yrs ETL experience · 5+ yrs T-SQL querying experience · Knowledge of client-server, stand-alone, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and 2012 · 3+ yrs SSIS experience · Visual Studio 2008 R2 or newer experience · Hands on production support experience (2nd level) · .NET Web Services experience (level IV) Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
