As an ERP Tester, you will provide hands-on, subject matter expertise in a fast paced, dynamic environment in order to develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and executing software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes, and for establishing and maintaining a process for evaluating software, and associated documentation and/or assisting in the evaluation. You will also be conducting and/or participating in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle. Top candidates for this position will possess minimum of five years’ relevant experience performing similar tasks, and will possess prior experience working with a Mi9® or equivalent retail software package (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials) on a system implementation or upgrade project for retail store front, Finance, Purchasing or Distribution. Experience and Skills: § A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science/IT, Finance, Accounting) –OR- Industry equivalent experience in lieu of four year degree § 5+ years’ experience developing and implementing quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization § An understanding of Mi9 Retail Store® or equivalent financial ERP software (i.e.: SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials) is preferred Minimum Qualifications: § 3-5 years experience in a technology environment as a hands on functional and technical tester; including experience testing interfaces § Fundamental understanding of ERP systems using modules for at least 2 functional modules within o Store Front / Retail o Finance o Purchasing / Allocations o Distribution Center § Proficient with MS Office applications § Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines § Strong written and verbal communication skills § Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users and management Preferred or Desired Qualifications: § Experience with Mi9 Retail Store § Experience with Great Plains § Experience with ANT Visual Modeler (Production Planner Software) ** Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
