Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The SAP Support analyst delivers incident and problem management Support
Services primarily within the SAP applications. They support any
developments with the SAP applications in line with client requirements in
accordance with ITIL methodology.

The Support Analyst for SAP Warehouse/Inventory Management will be
responsible for Level 2 Production Support for SAP WM/IM related issues for
the client’s SAP system.  Support Analyst will also be trained to support
additional functionality such as Movilizer.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Functional /Technical
3+ years of demonstrated hands on experience in supporting business
applications.
SAP WM/IM Implementation experience highly desirable
Movilizer experience a significant plus
In-depth experience in SAP WM/IM both from a technical and functional
standpoint
Familiar with ITSM / Service Desk ticketing systems

Tasks
Understands how to work in a managed service environment
Understands the functionality being supported and is capable of providing
guidance on the use of the application
Responsible for response and resolution for incidents in accordance to
Service Level Agreements
Makes suggestions for continuous improvement to address deficiencies
Provides timely updates and responses to support requests
Verifies the priority and severity of support requests
Accurately documents the reported issues and resolutions
Ensures accurate categorization of incidents and problems
Identifies and provides workarounds for common issues
Uses basic problem solving skills to resolve reported incidents
Escalates incidents / problems to a higher level of expertise within the
organization

Self-starter, works independently
Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and ability to achieve results
Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express
complex technical concepts in business terms to end users
