Please let me know if you have any consultants for the following requirement. *Description:* *Title: Need local QA* *Duration: 3-6 months+* *Location: King of Prussia, PA* *Job Description:* *Locals only!!!!* One intermediate level Quality Assurance Tester to work under the direction of the Software Quality Assurance lead to assure software delivery and defect resolution for a new company intranet implementation being developed using Microsoft SharePoint technology. Working with Project Leads, Developers, Subject Matter Experts and End Users; the QA Tester will verify and validate solution requirements are met and testing is performed to standards. Responsible for ensuring that software implements functionality as specified in the Functional Requirements Document. Tester will be responsible for execution of assigned tasks and updating manager on progress. Tasks are completed within a reasonable, agreed upon timeframe. Tester is responsible for ensuring all deliverables are high quality. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Understand how end users of the application would use the application and apply this knowledge to test activities 2. Write test cases based on functional design and requirements, application experience and moderate understanding of the business. 3. Document and execute tests using approved testing tools including but not limited to: HP ALM Defect Tracking / Test Case Management tools. 4. Document defects and provide basic root cause analysis of defects. 5. Adhere to company, team and department guidelines, processes, methodologies. 6. Perform moderate level of risk analysis surrounding application builds, customer priorities and defect analysis. 7. Prioritize work based on risk, quality expectations, timelines and customer needs. 8. Provide estimates and deliver within +/- 20% of estimate given on most occasions. 9. Provide project team with information regarding overall testing status, including progress and major milestones. 10. Escalate concerns regarding quality to the project team. 11. Communicate status to team Lead and project team. 12.
