We do not have a Business Analyst, so this candidate will have to develop Test Cases and Scripts and sometimes workflows from BRDs and Design Documents. As well as do the testing. Fort Wayne, IN or Concord, NH are preferred, and part time remote work will be considered. Two User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Tester positions that we need to fill as soon as possible. These positions are with the Middle/Back Office Track of the PACE program. The skills and responsibilities of these job positions are outlined below: · Knowledge of Business Requirements--Work with subject matter experts to comprehend business requirements for test script creation purposes · Application/Functional Testing-Develops test plans and test scripts, defines testing requirements, develops test cases, and performs application testing · Traceability Management - Experience in traceability of requirements · Knowledge of Defect Tracking Tools - Use of Quality Center is preferred · Data Mapping - Ability to map data between business requirements and data sources · Perform analysis and create recommendations to solve for unknowns · Ability to work independently and in a team environment · Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills (complex issues) · Attention to detail · Demonstrated strong communications skills (oral and written) · Involvement in large scale and highly visible projects · Securities industry knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory · Operational knowledge of insurance company is recommended *Quality Assurance/Testing Analyst Job Specification (generic)* *Qualifications:* Quality Assurance/Testing Analyst with a minimum of 3 years' experience based on strong analytical, communication written/verbal and technical skills. A team player with great communication skills and understands critical path activities and deadlines. The ideal candidate would have ability to interact with the business partners and technology project team members during all phases of the project life cycle. *Responsibilities:* The Quality Assurance/Testing Analyst will responsible for collaborating with project team members throughout the project life cycle to analyze and prepare the testing deliverables. Specifically, those deliverables include the Test Plan/Strategies, test cases/scripts, and participating in the execution phase. The role will execute test activities through the SDLC and the skills to write Test Cases/scripts based on Business Requirements, Test Plan/ Strategy, Design Specifications and implementation strategies. Execute against the test cases/scripts during testing phases/events and document test results including defects. The Testing Analyst will report to the Testing Coordinator and partner with project manager. *Position Details:* Ø Analyze the project deliverables including Business Requirements, Design Specifications, and Implementation Strategies for testing requirements. Ø Write and document Test Plan, Test Cases/Scripts for review with project team members Ø Work closely with User Acceptance Test Coordinator, Business Managers and other testing personnel to ensure timely delivery of the tested product. Ø Execute test and regression testing protocols and defect tracking and analysis based on the test scripts Ø Maintain complete record of testing transactions including pass/fail indicators, final results and evidence of testing. Ø Track and report test results to Testing Coordinator for integrated reporting to leadership team Ø Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all company and client information. Ø Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job. *Technical Skills*: Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Power Point and Quality Center testing tool is desirable.
