*Need :PeopleSoft App Change Admin Location :Minneapolis, MNDuration : 12 months* Phone *Screen to hire* Must have *PeopleSoft Code migration* experience. *APPLICATION CHANGE ADMINISTRATOR:* The successful candidate to fill this Application Change Administrator position will require previous experience in a code migrations processes, preferably via Stat for PeopleSoft. Familiarity with PeopleSoft is essential. Experience in administration of Stat for PeopleSoft is a definite plus. The position requires a person who can think outside the box, work with a variety of people and challenges as well as in an environment of flexibility and opportunity. This position is responsible for working with developers to ensure their code is completely and correctly deployed to all environments in the Software Development Lifecycle. This position is for 40 hours per week with occasional after hours work as part of an on call incident resolution team rotation. There is no additional compensation when contractor is “on call.” However, when he needs to respond to an incident, the time will be compensated at the regular hourly contract rate. *ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Migrate PeopleSoft code, objects, data updates. Provide technical administration and migration support for PeopleSoft environments. Enforce application change schedule, and migration strategy policies. Perform analysis of University modifications and updates to ensure that the migration process is followed. Analyze migration output results to determine that processes worked as expected. Develop and implement automated scripts to accomplish migration success. Research the use of new technologies required in the deployment of new systems. Collaborate with developers and functional specialists in configuring the PeopleSoft environments. Debug PeopleSoft errors; open and manage cases with the vendor when necessary. Review vendor software updates and prepare comparison reports for the developers; plan and manage the migration of these patches/bundles to the various instances on schedule in partnership with developers and customers. *SKILLS/ABILITIES:* Ability to coordinate task/project efforts with other members, service owners and developers. Actively discover, research and make recommendations for process improvement. Problem research and error isolation: conduct analysis of migrations results/failures; work with developers and service owners to resolve issues. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with individuals with all levels of technical and non-technical skill sets. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, people skills are essential. Good listening skills; problem solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects at once is necessary. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Understanding of PeopleSoft application architecture. Experience with *UNIX-based operating* systems. High level of responsibility and accountability. Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the role a migrations team provides. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
