--Requisition Comments--

This role requires an experienced Information Domain Architect / Designer
with excellent communication skills. This position requires candidates to
take a lead role in the creation of Business Intelligence Solutions
supporting all Property and Casualty business functions. Candidates should
be able to quickly understand existing application architectures and
standards. Knowledge in most aspects of designing and constructing data
architectures, operational data stores and data marts is a plus.

The technologies we work with include Informatica, Business Objects, SAS.
The candidate needs to have experience researching available data sources
and then designing how best to move and integrate that data into our BI
environment. To do this, the candidate will most likely use the following
technologies. WinSQL, MsWord, MsExcel, Sparx Enterprise Architecture (nice
to have, but not necessary - this can be learned), ER/Studio, Informatica,
Business Objects.

It would be ideal if the candidate had an understanding of ETL processing
using Informatica. It isn't necessary for the candidate to know how to
code using Informatica, but it would beneficial if they understood the
concepts and/or could read Informatica mappings. It would also be helpful
if the candidate could read and understand data models. We use
Embarcadero's ER/Studio. We're not asking the candidate to do data
modeling, but understanding it and how to read a data model is important.

Required:

1. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills a MUST!

2. Strong knowledge and experience in the design and development of

data warehouse architecture for large volume analytic solutions with

specialization in one or more of the following: property & casualty

policy lifecycle, property & casualty claims, customer, finance,

     general ledger, billing, etc.

3. Experience in designing Business Intelligence Solutions to support

reporting and analysis. Knowledge of industry accepted design

     techniques including star schemas.

4. Experience in providing technical leadership to project teams

consisting of Solution Architects, Data Modelers, Developers,

      Analysts, DBAs.

5. Strong experience with Communication, Research, Analysis, Design,

    Documentation of Business Intelligence Solutions.
