*Need :Windows AdminLocation:Columbus, OhioDuration: 5 Months * *Roles and Responsibilities:* Windows Core Infrastructure Engineer developing automation solutions across the Windows OS and hardware platforms • Contribute to a development framework with documentation and accountability for implementing and maintaining hardware and software infrastructure. Provide subject matter expertise to the business for decision making and planning related to the Windows OS system and perspective infrastructure. Expected to communicate (written, oral, and diagrammatic) complex technical designs and solutions to a wide-variety of audiences, including non-technical staff • Expected to lead and provide innovation in emerging technologies, trends, practices, and concepts • Designing, implementing and executing server infrastructure, migration strategies, and integration/coexistence for a wide range of medium to enterprise-level initiatives projects (Both internal and external) *Required Skills:* 7 – 10 years of Windows environment build, engineering and administration required; 5 – 7 years of Windows Clustering build, administration and engineering required; 2 - 4 years of Windows Geo-Clustering build, administration and engineering required; 2 - 4 years VMware *ESX/ESXi* knowledge 2-4 years of Extensive *PowerShell scripting*Extensive scripting, tuning and performance monitoring experience required; *DNS and DHCP* administration experience required; Experience with installing software releases, firmware, system upgrades and patches; Knowledge of *TCP/IP, LAN and WAN concepts and implementations* Strong knowledge of Windows Failover Clustering deployment including *SQL, Hyper-V Hosts and Guest Clustering, Cluster Shared Volumes, Hyper-V Live Migration design and planning* Experience with *Symantec Backup Exec software, Symantec Anti Virus* or other Backup and Malware software Demonstrated technical Network and Storage design, configuration, and implementation expertise with technologies such as SMB 3.0, RDMA, Data De-duplication, Cluster Shared Volumes Experience in leading full domain migrations from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012 *SCCM 2007 or 2012 OSD/MDT Experience Preferred* *Preferred Skills:* Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong leadership and organization skills Understanding of development life cycles Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical members of the organization Reporting technologies Message queuing architecture Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; *Job Duties:* Windows Core Infrastructure Engineer developing automation solutions across the Windows OS and hardware platforms Contribute to a development framework with documentation and accountability for implementing and maintaining hardware and software infrastructure.
