*Need :Messaging EngineerLocation:New York NYDuration:6+months* Messaging Engineer/ *SME needed to lead the design and hands-on implementation of Exchange 2013 in support of a migration project for 35,000+ mailboxes currently hosted on Exchange 2007.MS Lync is also a major component of this project and will require full integration with the overall solution. * *Primary accountabilities:* Design and implementation plan Troubleshooting technical issues during project rollout Standards and Qualification Documentation as per customer requirements Training BAU team & Run books creation Customer technical query handling. *Skills:* Extensive hands on experience in implementing messaging systems in large corporate environments Good knowledge of Administrative Activities for multiple messaging platforms Ability to work in challenging project environment. Senior level Communication and Documentation Skills Ability to Design and Architect solutions using the Microsoft suite of products *Experience:* *Significant expertise (5 to 7 years*) in defining, designing and deploying global business solutions Has played a lead role in architecture, design, implementation and documentation with SME knowledge in one or more related technology areas. Effective communications (oral and written), presentation delivery and influencing skills, especially with senior management and customers on technology strategies and standards; able to create and maintain cross-segment relationships and foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and cooperation; drive change in process and behaviors Strong analytical focus, results-oriented and execution driven, with the ability to align technology developments with the generation of potential competitive business advantage Self-starter with desire to understand work and project objectives, big picture Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify learning opportunities, improve current processes. Possesses a good understanding of IT service management Significant experience in high availability and disaster recovery functionality Significant experience with tuning application hosting environments to ensure optimal performance Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies Ability to identify and elaborate enterprise-wide impact of major product technology trends.
