*Need        :MDM Siebel Quality AssuranceLocation: 
Indianapolis,INDuration: 12+months Contract to hire*
 
*EAD, GC or USC*
 
*Experience:* 
Three (3) or more year’s experience in *software testing (including 
scripting) in a Data Warehouse environment. Five (5) or more years 
experience in an IT/QA role required*.
 
*Knowledge and Skill:* 
Strong knowledge of project management, Quality Assurance and system 
development methodologies. Must be experienced in Business Intelligence and 
Data Warehousing terminology, tools, and testing methodologies. Agile 
experience preferred.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex SQL scripts that 
include data transformations and processing rules.
Knowledge of HP Quality Center/ALM, Toad or SQL Developer, Siebel, FTP, 
Flux and ClearQuest preferred.
Understand Normalized and Dimensional (Star and Snow Flake Schema) Data 
Modeling concepts.
Understand the concepts of lineage, usage and modeling of data, XML Message 
Routing, source to destination 
Ability to analyze Functional Design, Business Requirement documentation 
and technical specs.
Understand Oracle Enterprise Data Quality – EDQ - (Profiling, Matching, 
Parsing, etc) 
 
*Job Summary:*
Support the software quality assurance process. Create and maintain 
software applications enhancing corporate competitiveness. Must know, 
practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and 
federal laws are followed at all times. Ensure that no company, employee or 
customer information is inappropriately divulged to unauthorized parties. 
This is not a safety sensitive position.
 
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins and schedules 
from the Corporate Office and Team Lead. Maintain a good flow of 
communication with the Department employees and within the Corporation.
Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for 
all contacts and transactions.
Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints 
and disputes and resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous 
manner. Advise the Team Lead of serious complaints or incidents.
Perform in cross functional and matrixed teams; work with Programmer 
Analysts to troubleshoot issues that arise with testing applications and 
work with Business Analysts to comprehend business user functional process.
Foster team success by participating in the training of new analysts. 
Mentor, direct and check the work of other Quality Analysts. Ensure project 
completeness for customer initiatives. Review deliverables from the Quality 
Assurance team.
Translate business and functional requirements and documented technical 
specifications including design documents into test plans.
Analyze source to target documentation, create minus queries, and 
understand data warehousing.
Prepare and execute test cases for functional areas of applications. 
Perform manual testing and document test failures.
Write complex SQL scripts that include creating, inserting, and updating 
deleting data.
Reading and executing stored procedures. 
Create and identify test data required to execute test cases and interact 
with project team members to ensure the data is available for testing. 
Ability to analyze data and results and clearly document issues to aid 
others in the quick and efficient remediation.
Establish, maintain and nurture the Quality Assurance environment 
supporting the software development life cycle. Certifies the quality level 
of new and existing applications from a functional testing perspective.
Responsible for validation testing, integration testing, system testing, 
regression testing, incremental testing, and supporting user acceptance 
testing.
Write, implement and report status for system test cases.
Maintain a repository of all quality records such as defects, issues, 
review findings and improvement opportunities.
Develop, implement and maintain Quality Assurance standards and controls.
Analyze data and provide management reports on the effectiveness of the 
Quality Assurance system.
Maintain positive employee relations and morale whenever possible. Practice 
sound leadership and human relations principles to promote teamwork at all 
times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. Resolve 
employee relations problems, complaints, suggestions, etc. Follow-through 
and communicate employee relations problems to the Team Lead.
Monitor all area related conditions, property and equipment within 
corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety. Advise 
Maintenance of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately.
Make sure all area conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to 
and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or 
damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and 
instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. 
Report all incidents properly and immediately.
 
*Education:*
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
