This position works closely with the business units, development team, and executives to develop and maintain business related software for the organization. 5+ years of hands-on experience developing "database centric" applications. Experience developing SQL queries of medium to high complexity (DDL/DML) Strong understanding of Database Development, and Data Modeling Experience in Oracle(10G/11G) PL/SQL programming is nice to have Ability to follow directions and work with minimum supervision Ability to implement, according to provided specifications Handle routine maintenance tasks Database SQL Developer *RESPONSIBILITIES* Hands on Software Development. Performing logical and physical data modeling. Database Performance Tuning and debugging . Perform coding and other related software development tasks per project requirements. Work as an individual as well as within a team structure to deliver complex system designs. Design effective system architecture with a focus in usability and scalability. Plan and research, follow software development life cycle (*SDLC)*methodology and best practices. Analyze requests for change, code and test new functionality. Design and develop visual and functional specifications for internal applications. Support acceptance tests and production test. *EXPERIENCE * 5+ years of hands-on experience developing "database centric" applications. Must be strong in *Oracle(10G/11G) PL/SQL programming*. Stored procedures, *PL/SQL packages.* Oracle SQL Loader, import/export utilities. Concurrent processing. Strong understanding of Database Development, and Data Modeling Must be able to develop SQL queries of medium to high complexity (DDL/DML) Working with large data sets. Experience with partitioning, bulk operation, xml, flat file processing.
