*Need : Senior Database AdministratorLocation : New York, NY Duration : 6month+ * Mode of Interview: *1st round phone 2nd round face to face Onsite interview is mandatory* The Software Developer has experience in designing, developing and maintaining critical financial software with solid experience in *application architecture, lifecycle management and business analysis*. This position works closely with the business units, development team, and executives to develop and maintain business related software for the organization. Responsible for *standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration*. Manages and maintains all production and non-production databases. Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems (e.g*. Oracle, DB2 and MS/SQL*), configures database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models, and defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. Optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.
