·  A minimum of 6 years of experience as Business Analyst with emphasis on
complex and critical business applications used by industries such as
Payroll, Insurance, Tax Reporting Process or Banking.

·  A minimum of 1 year of experience working with external partners (such
as banks, payroll processing companies) in exchanging data and integrating
workflow with internal/external systems.



*POSITION SUMMARY:*

The Applications Analyst is a versatile and highly motivated individual who
works on understanding the existing system implementation, gathering
requirements, writing business requirements documents and use cases, work
with the project team to achieve solution design, see thru the
implementation of the projects and provide production support post go-live.
This Position requires heavy interaction with users, external vendor(s),
Development team and QA team to ensure the final products meet user
requirements without failure. The Application Analyst will report to the
Director of the Applications Analyst Group.

*DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:*

   - Proficient understanding and ability to analyze and query application
   data schema.
   - Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical
   business user constituencies.
   - The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand
   complex, dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed, specific
   and comprehensive documentation.
   - Engage business users and ensure cohesive articulation of business
   goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions
   - Work with external vendor(s) for data exchange, process definitions
   and workflows.
   - Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the
   development framework.
   - Verification of feasibility of Business User's request functionality
   and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
   - Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts with little
   direct supervision.
