*Need : Java Developer (withJSF)Location : Jamaica Plain, MA Duration : Long-term* *Job Title: Software Developer 8 years* The ideal candidate will have a working experience as a software developer, an academic background in Information Technology, strong communication skills, strong work ethic, and a pro-active attitude for learning new technologies. The candidate will work within a team of software developers, business and QA analysts to support the development of the Massachusetts Immunization Information System. Strong communication skills are required as the position will require direct work with the programmatic subject matter experts when discussing requirements. *Requirements:* Applicant will contribute to the development of Web Application using Java/J2ee/Spring on the JBoss, Weblogic, etc. platforms. Experience in development of Web/Application Servers: *JBoss, Weblogic, tomcat etc*Experience with relational databases such as *Oracle 11g* Comfortable working throughout the entire web software stack from UI to database queries Strong user interface design skills Participates in process or architectural discussions Provides input to requirements analysis Identifies technology to provide product/process stability or improvement May regularly collaborate with external parties or other teams Conduct complex feature and/or system integration tests Should be strong in Object Oriented analysis and design using Spring framework & hibernate Evaluates complex situations using multiple sources of information Isolates problems and redesigns processes *Soft skills:* Should have excellent written and oral English communication skills Should have professional attitude Should have good people management skills *Education and Background:* 8 years of related experience out of which at least *5 years should be in Java/J2EE Technologies.*Experience with spring, Hibernate, web service and Oracle is a must.
