Location: Milwaukee, WI Duration: 6+ months Job Title: PeopleSoft Business Analyst Deadline: ASAP Prefer local candidates to Milwaukee, Wisconsin BUT WILL CONSIDER OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES AS WELL THAT CAN DO SKYPE INTERVIEWS *Business Analyst with PeopleSoft* Creates, implements, and supports human resources systems solutions, and conducts complex analyses of workflow processes and business requirements to support human resources and organizational objectives. Serves as a liaison between human resources, information systems, users, vendors, and consultants, and acts as a resource on complex technical issues. Will provide ongoing support for the People soft Benefit module Process and troubleshoot ongoing benefit and events, ongoing problem resolution and general customer support, and work with IT development resources to analyze, test and implement fixes and changes as required. Will lead up effort for the 2014 Benefits Open Enrollment supporting open enrollment planning meetings with HRIS and Benefits Dept. staff. Identify and analyze existing benefits administration issues, Make recommendations regarding best practices and configuration options, facilitate discussions regarding project milestones and risk management, validate benefit plan option and premium rate changes with benefits department staff, provide insight and analysis using PeopleSoft reporting tools such as PS query. Support PeopleSoft benefit application changes and customizations, support testing activities including downstream payroll deductions and benefit interfaces. Work closely with IT development resources as necessary Analyzes business requirements and workflow processes to align human capital technology to meet business requirements. Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather information and obtain an understanding of the business processes, needs and requirements. Creates functional specifications based upon the business requirements. Ensures alignment functionality with best practice, business processes, and procedures. Maintains appropriate security of the system based on business needs. Coordinates and participates in system testing and test script scenario definition (integration testing, user acceptance testing, parallel testing, software defect testing) to ensure functionality and security. Provides or coordinates operational and technical system support, and troubleshoots with human resources, information systems, and users to resolve system problems, which includes research, documentation, and communication of issues. Develops, implements, and evaluates complex human resources systems project specifications and timelines which include participation in system design, configuration, conversion, testing, process definition, issue identification and resolution. Maintains system tables and configures the system to meet business requirements. Ensures project timelines are adhered to and efficiently identifies potential issues to ensure project success. Serves as a liaison between human resources, information systems, system users, and third party vendors or consultants to articulate processes and procedures, identify and resolve problems, perform system maintenance, implement project tasks, and recommend/develop human resources system user training/education modules, and delivers training on system functionalities and report development based on needs assessments. Evaluates training effectiveness and modifies training and programs accordingly. Coordinates, monitors, and edits human resources website content, ensures information is up-to-date, and assists remote online authors with content development as needed. Designs and maintains queries, documents and complex reports to meet user needs, proactively anticipates reporting needs, and offers recommendations on the providing of value-added system data. Maintains ongoing data integrity to ensure accuracy, which includes running audits to identify and correct system data integrity issues, proactively developing ways to improve processes/systems, making appropriate recommendations, and implementing changes.
