*Need : Oracle DBA Location : Columbus, OH Duration : 12 Months * 25%: *Oracle Databases (11g/10g/9i) - Install, build, patch and tune.* 15%: Oracle Dataguard/Oracle Standby databases. 15%: Oracle performance tuning. 10%: RMAN or major backup packages. 10%: Logical and Physical Database design. 5%: Oracle Advanced Replication/ Real Application Clusters/VCS for Oracle. 5%: SQL, PLSQL, Shell scripting. 5%: Data warehousing/OLAP. Grid Control/9i OEM. 5%: Provide 7x24x365 assistance as necessary in support of NetJets' global, high-availability operations. 5%: Provide accurate time tracking details and appropriate metrics for work performed. *Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree* Course of Study/Major: *Information Technology/MIS/CS* Type of Credentials/Licenses: Oracle Certification OCP/OCA *Work Experience: 6-8 years* *Additional Requirements:* 8+ years of experience administering/creating Oracle 11g/10g/9i on UNIX/AIX and/or Linux platforms. 6+ years of experience with High Availability database solutions/architectures such as Veritas Clusters and/or Oracle Real Application Clusters. 3+ years of working with Oracle Advanced Replication, Oracle Streams AQ and Oracle CDC. 5+ years of setting up Oracle Standby Database databases and using DataGuard. 6+ years of firsthand experience with RMAN and one of the major backup packages. Must have excellent SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting skills. Java or pearl experience is desirable. Hands-on experience with Oracle performance tuning /Statspack/AWR/ASH/ADDM. Data warehousing experience is a plus, but is not required. 4+ years of hands on experience with database monitoring tools is required (10g Grid/ 9i OEM). Logical & Physical database design experience and data modeling experience is required.
