*Need :Sr. ETL Analytics Developer Location :Pleasanton, CA (local only)Duration: 6+ Months Contract* Responsible for development and support of Enterprise Data Warehouse and ETL jobs; *5+ years of experience in ETL Development, using Talend, Informatica or other Open Source ETL tools. Knowledge of BIRST* would be plus ETL Developer to join our Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Division on a contracted basis for approximately 2 months. This position is responsible for development and support of *Enterprise Data Warehouse and ETL jobs. * *Key Responsibilities: Industry SaaS* Design and develop ETL processes between *OLTP and OLAP* systems Gathering business requirements, creating supporting technical requirements and mapping documents Design Data Warehouse and Data Models (star and snowflake schemas) Develop ETL code with appropriate monitoring and error handling capabilities Developed Predictive Data Models using Open source products like R Engine, Weka and integrate these products with ETL tools Create, maintain and troubleshoot SQL Query execution plans Create and maintain unit test plans Develop operating scripting language scripts like shell for job automation Code Deployment in QA, UAT and Production Assist and train QA engineers to test ETL Applications Performance tuning of ETL extract jobs Conduct Knowledge transfer and training sessions for other team members as required Design and develop database store procedures and functions for various ETL applications Respond to production support including some off-hours *Key Requirements:* *5+ years of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence design and development5+ years of experience in ETL Development, using Talend*, Informatica or other Open Source ETL tools. Knowledge of BIRST would be plus Troubleshoot ETL failures, defects and remediate them. Experience in resolving ETL performance issues Develop Predictive models that include relational and social Textual data. Development Predictive model and fine tuning of models using R Engine and Weka Linux/Shell scripting expertise or windows batch scripting expertise Strong database development skills, including SQL and performance tuning in MYSQL, Oracle or other relational databases. Experience in columnar databases such as Vertica or ParAccel would be plus Knowledge of software development life-cycle for data warehouse and business intelligence projects.
