*Position:* Sr. Business Process Analyst/Process Automation Engineer *Location: *Cannonsburgh (Pittsburgh), PA *Project Duration:* 1+ year Contract (with high potential for extension) *Position Summary* We are currently seeking a Process Automation Engineer. The successful candidate should have previous experience with process design and automation. This position will provide support to our factory operations, development, QA and also be responsible for design, redesign and process improvements. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, change control, and support of company job scheduler system, which defines factory operational processes. This position is responsible for working with application and system owners across the organization to design, configure, schedule, and monitor production batch jobs across a multi-platform enterprise infrastructure. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for defining and understanding work processes, job plan dependencies, and to help enforce production control policies and procedures. Experience designing and maintaining hundreds of chains and modules to provide an integrated business process flow to support a complex enterprise infrastructure is required. *Responsibilities:* · Inventory and assess the current Job workload automation infrastructure · Architect and design automation of organizations enterprise infrastructure · Establish standards, policies & procedures for job scheduling, monitoring and change control for workload automation across the enterprise · Review and oversee the implementation of job requests to determine processing needs, ensure business SLAs are met, and standards are followed · Analyze, understand, document and automate business process flows · Define and deploy job scheduling infrastructure Collaborate with Development, Architecture, Testing, Quality Assurance, and Operations groups to ensure the workload automation infrastructure is scalable, visible, secure, highly available, efficient, flexible, and auditable · Present complex findings to various levels of the organization to ensure the automation plan matches the business needs · Integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement · Provide independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain best possible automation *Required Skills:* · Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. · Minimum five years of related experience in Process/Systems analysis and design; Commercial off the Shelf System (COTS) design, configuration and implementation, and addressing unique issues of data architecture and management Knowledge and experience managing design and implementation projects using any batch scheduling system. · Three or more years of experience with Applications Manager (Appworx/UC4/Atomic) within a large enterprise infrastructure, working in multiplatform datacenter environments highly desired · Knowledge and experience of all aspects of the software development process, incl change management and configuration management · Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle and Microsoft database technologies), Structured Query Language (SQL), and Unix operating system Knowledge of with Linux, AIX, and Microsoft Server platforms · Ability to work independently, on multiple projects · Organized and attentive to detail · Strong communications skills, verbal and written (incl standards, documentation) · Effective leadership and change management skills *Thanks & Regards* *Dev* *Softsense Solutions* Ph: 309-200-0730 Fax:866-805-2430 [email protected] <[email protected]> Yahoo:devashishpandey31 Gtalk :devashish.recruiter Disclaimer This message is for the named recipient(s) above and may contain confidential, proprietary or legally privileged information of SOFTSENSE.
