*Job title: Reports Analyst*

*Location: Morrisville, NC*

*Duration: 5 months(CTH)*



*Job description*:



v  Coordinates requests for and delivery of reports and dashboards from
multiple data sources.
Reviews report requests to determine which can be fulfilled via other
methods and which should  be developed.

v  Allocates work to the appropriate analyst and follows-up to ensure
successful delivery.

v  Ensures that current business processes and constraints relating
to databases, and tools are understood.

v  Develops and manages roll-out plans for reporting solutions.
Gather user requirements and design the functional specifications for
analytical reports and dashboards as needed.



*Qualifications:*



·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Business or related field considerable (comparable to 5 – 7 years)
experience working with a relational database  in a clinical research
environment or;

·         Moderate experience (comparable to 3 – 4 years) with proven
proficiency and expertise as a Reports Analyst II.

·         Excellent typing and data entry skills

·         Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
and high quality deliverables

·         Proficient in MS Office, e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook

·         Ability to learn new software and systems

·         Ability to learn new terminology and processes

·         Proficient customer service skills

·         Ability to function as a team player

·         Strong communication skills, whether written or oral

·         Ability to facilitate team meetings, communications, and process
flows, both within departmental structure and across functional groups

·         Knowledge of relational database structure and experience working
with complex data system’s

·         Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments
with challenging timelines

·         Ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities and
expectations

·         Ability to utilize MS Excel beyond basic spreadsheet functions
(solid experience formatting, sorting, managing and presenting data and
utilization of charts, graphs and pivot tables)

·         Working knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence and other
reporting tools

·         Working knowledge of SQL and preferably Visual Basic, HTML etc.

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Ability to mentor and coach a diverse team and support team
structure

·         Strong analytical and decision making skills
