*Edifects EDI Systems Analyst (Developer)* *Location:* Cerritos, CA *Interview:* Phone or Skype *Industry: *Healthcare *Duration: *6 months + *Top Skills* - *Experience in Edifecs 8.3 X Engine and Spec Builder and Mapper * - *Knowledge of HIPAA X.12 Standards * - *Excellent Communication Skills* *Edifecs EDI System Analyst* Strong experience with Edifecs XEngine, Edifecs EAM, Edifecs SpecBuilder and Edifecs MapBuilder version 8.X or later Ability to manage multiple data feeds and trading partners simultaneously with ease Experience with multiple client data schemas and design patterns and requirements Consult with management and staff to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements Ability to write SQL queries to check the data dictionary tables in the Facets 5 0.1 database, proprietary databases and other data objects Through understanding of HIPAA X12 and ANSI transactions such as (837, 834, 835, 270, 271, 276 and 277CA) Through understanding of Medicare and Medicaid (Long Term Care Plan, PACE Plan, PCCM) and Medicare (part A, B and C) plans Ability to define and communicate business requirements and technical specifications to the technical/programming department and business Develops test cases, coordinate and implement testing plans to test business and functional processes Write and maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems. Create or assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests Coordinate the implementation of technological functions to customer's specifications Analyze existing systems to determine more efficient processing methods Develop and analyze business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provide notations of performance deviations and anomalies Provide analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership and external customers Gather requirements from the user and prepared functional specifications along with data flow and UML diagrams Develop variation matrices based on the template provided by the Subject Matter Experts Quality Analysis of the Trizetto Facets application for Claims processing and billing modules. Gather and document requirements related to a system enhancement for COB claims Minimum two years analytical and data processing experience, IT experience preferred.
