*Requisition: 2014-10-BATX* *Position Name: Business Analyst* Location: Richardson HQ Start Date: ASAP End Date: *12/31/2015* *LOCAL CANDIDATES TO RICHARDSON AREA IS PREFERRED. ALL IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS, NO PHONE INTERVIEWS**.* Responsible for overall business and system requirement deliverable for program/project; defines and manages a set of customer/stakeholder requirements throughout the SDLC. Manages Requirement Traceability; responsible for traceability across the project life-cycle, tracking requirements status, managing changes to requirements and versions of requirement specifications, and tracing individual requirements to other project phases and work products. Primary work products: · Current and Future State Analysis · Business Requirements Specifications · System Requirements Specification · Traceability Matrix KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Be the primary stakeholder liaison for elicitation & analysis of requirements deliverable. 2. Work with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; participate in formulating and defining system solutions and objectives, based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes. 3. Elicit business, user, functional, and system requirements using appropriate documentation techniques to describe statements of the goals, objectives, or needs of a particular stakeholder or group of stakeholders (on projects of high complexity). 4. Translate and document each requirement type in the appropriate manner for business approval and technology consumption; manage changes to such specifications through the project life-cycle.. 5. Provide traceability across the project life-cycle, tracking requirements status, managing changes to requirements and versions of requirement specifications, and tracing individual requirements to other project phases and work products. 6. Provide estimates for project management and change management activities through analysis of requirements effort, resources, and technology. REQUIRED SKILLS *· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration with 7 years experience in project management, method analysis, or operations/systems analysis OR 10 years experience in project management, method analysis, or operations/systems analysis.* · Experience with multiple full lifecycle process and software projects with strong understanding of how each phase fits into the overall lifecycle. · Experience in using requirements management tools, such as IBM’s RequisitePro, RequisiteWeb, or HP Quality Center. · Experience with business modeling tools and various methodologies/frameworks. · Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of the facilitation process and leadership skills · Ability to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements based on assigned project workstreams · Define and manage requirement sets throughout the project life-cycle · Provide traceability across the project life-cycle, tracking requirements status, managing changes to requirements and versions of requirement specifications.
