Req : Senior Salesforce Business Analyst Duration: 6+ Month Location: Washington, DC area Submission Due Date: 1/14/2015 Description: In this key position, the Senior Salesforce Business Analyst will have the opportunity to work closely with product management, IT and development to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions for our clients. This includes recommending solutions, estimating costs and delivery times, documenting workflow, forms and reporting requirements unique to our clients, and working closely with product teams to validate new features prior to release. The selected candidate will use their interpersonal communication skills to work cross functionally within the company and also with our external clients and to ensure that our software applications are meeting client needs. Salesforce experienced is highly preferred – but we are also interested in your ability to work across platforms to customize third party applications Qualifications: ·BA / BS degree with 4 plus years of experience in a similar role preferably within a consultative environment where client interface and satisfaction is central to business success. Must have some experience working with external clients. · Working knowledge of CRM and/or ERP systems is strongly preferred; Salesforce a plus · Understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies · Working knowledge of Agile development within a cross-functional, software development environment (SDLC) environment; · Working knowledge of Visio, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint as well as other third party applications (web based applications and databases) · Understanding of IT infrastructure and the ways in which internal and external systems integrate with data sources · Experience writing product requirements, preparing mockups and workflow diagrams and with business process re-design · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group to include external clients, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. · Presentation skills to demonstrate new product features to both internal and external client groups · Previous experience writing product requirements for development consumption · Comfortable working in a matrix organization · Ability and desire to mentor other business analysts Contract contingent upon successful completion of background investigation.
