*Position: EDI Business Analyst Location: Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, IL * *Only Locals...Requirements:* * 2+ years of related experience with formal training or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Solid experience with mapping going through a tool to create maps. Must be solid with actually creating maps, not just analysis. * Translation of messages using EDI on a Windows platform. Experience with GXS ( Innovis ) BizManager / BizConnect / BizLink. * Working knowledge of EDI ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards ( including the following transaction sets: 210, 214, 846, 850, 856, 888, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947 ). * Experience developing EDI specifications; monitoring transmission reports; interfacing with trading and business partners; process control, including the scheduling, sending, re-sending, and prioritization of messages. * A basic understanding of EDI documents ( X12 or XML ) and how they are used in warehousing. * Integration to back-end systems using established applications integration technologies and architectures. * Standard communications protocols including http/s, FTP / secure FTP, AS2. * Creating test plans and test files and conducting testing with trading partners. * Managing and executing EDI projects. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a very fast-paced, agile environment. * Preferred: Warehousing, Supply Chain and/or Transportation industry experience; Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Stored Procedures; Knowledge of Zebra printer language ( ZPL ) and label creation; Knowledge of Java and JavaScript. * Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent technical certification is desirable. *HEADLINE: **2+ yr.
