Position : Network Engineer Location : Mt.Laurel NJ Duration: 8 months+ Hourly rate: Open Client : Comcast - Network Engineering (EPS) – Philadelphia Senior Network Engineer/Architect Rate is open for the right candidate. If someone fits the technical description please send at the best rate you can accomodate and we will work to get them interviewed. This position is extremely router focused. These groups within Comcast are the highest escalation point for any routing based issues. Need someone who knows carrier level routers inside and out, along with various routing protocols. The candidate(s) that will recieve an offer here will likely be from another telecom provider such as Cisco, Juniper, Verizon, etc. Face-to-Face interview may be required, but we are trying to eliminate that step where possible. Please just indicate if someone is unable to do a F2F. The Network Engineer/Architect will primarily be responsible for the infrastructure and design of the core routers that the CRAN supports. The CRAN combines data, voice, and video onto a single converged IP infrastructure. Ideal candidates should have the following: · Strong experience designing, deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and testing Cisco and/or Juniper routers (both useful but strong expertise in Cisco OR Juniper required) o Juniper core series routers: M, T, TX, MX o Cisco series routers: 7600, 7200, 3900 · Extensive experience in configuring, performing maintenance and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies for core routers (MPLS) · Solid understanding of routing protocols including IS-IS, OSPF, BGP · Ability to document network design changes and processes/procedures · Knowledge of Frame Relay/ISDN · Ability to assist with the network automation efforts (any experience with scripting perl, Python, PHP highly preferred) · CCIE or JCNIE highly preferred (CCNP or JNCIP acceptable as well) Thanks & Regards; SAHITYA Astir IT Solutions, Inc.
