Experience working with metrics and monitoring tools to analyze server performance and pro-actively recommend actions Experience working in a highly distributed, global work environment Job Description —————————— In this role the successful candidate will own the testing and analysis of eBays customer support Citrix environment. Expectations are that all testing will be handled by this role, with particular focus on first replicating and then working to resolve performance issues seen in our production environment, including issues with CPU usage, memory utilization, perceived freezes or high latency, and recommending possible resolutions. The successful candidate will need to be able to take a reported problem and chase it down to resolution state. Ideally this person will be able to recommend optimal configurations to enable the highest performing distributed Citrix server farm possible. In addition to the above the candidate should be self-motivated, pro-active, and able to work closely with developers, QE, and on-site support people. Working with the outsourcers is also a possibility. Excellent communication to leadership.
