Summary: The Intermediate Developer role designs, develops, and implements
architecture-centric solutions which adhere to and meet the strategic
objectives set forth by the Sr. Developer, Tech lead, Architect, and IT
Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Participates in development phases of SDLC: from analysis, design,
development, and test to deployment and support.
Participates in designing software solutions by writing sections of
Design Specifications, description of framework, interfaces, services,
reports, business components, and interaction between the components under
the guidance of the senior developer and/or Architect.
Responsible for ensuring quality delivery of code through static and
dynamic testing techniques
Is able to troubleshoot any issue of moderate complexity as well as
provide support to production.
Keeps abreast of the current technologies and technological trends.
Act as technical resource to ensure the project is successfully
completed.
Adheres to IT standards and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Developer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated abilities to successfully document and communicate
software designs of moderately complex systems.
Proven history of developing and unit testing moderately complex
software components.
Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing
environment
Must have decision-making skills for problem identification and
solution recommendation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a diverse
workforce
Self-motivated and self-starter
Ability to work as part of a team or independently under minimal
direction while demonstrating initiative and using good business judgment
Able to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner.
Technical Requirements
3 years Android Programming Experience
Expertise with JSON and XML
Experience with SQLite
Experience using ContentProviders
Experience with UI Elements, Activities and Fragments
Experience consuming RESTful services
Experience with BroadcastReceivers
Experience with any/all of the following is a PLUS: SQL RDMS, MS SQL
Server
Experience developing Android services
Preferred Skills
Experience with Java Development
Experience with any Object Oriented Programming
Travel requirements: Ability to travel up to 10%.
