Front-End Developer Location: Boston, MA Contract Length: 6-12 months (re-evaluate the contract at the end of the year) Interview: Phone screen followed by F2F is preferred, if they are not local, Skype is a second option Key Responsibilities: · Collaborate with business analysts and designers in the enhancement of an existing web application. Development will also include reports and interfaces. · Research, document, design and implement program requirements and specifications. · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment. · Provide on and off hour support on a rotating schedule Required Skills/Experience · 5+ years’ experience of front end development using JavaScript, ExtJS, HTML5, CSS and Ajax · Experience in object oriented analysis and design using UML. · understand CSS and be familiar with CSS rule of priority and selector · understand JavaScript and object oriented JavaScript programming · understand html DOM structure and knows how to debug web UI using browser debugger/inspector · familiar with one or more JavaScript framework like Angular, ExtJS, Dojo, etc. · Strong communication skills · Ability to work as a team member · Financial Services industry experience is a plus. NOTE: ExtJS is an absolute must have for this role.
