*Quality Assurance Engineer * *Aliso Viejo CA* *1 Year* *Face to face interview required* *Candidates must be local * Selenium and C# 1. C# OOP understanding (6) a. Candidate should have hands on coding experience. b. Candidate should have basic understanding of how data structures, loops etc in object oriented programming work. 2. Selenium (9) a. Basic understanding of selenium – standalone web-driver, selenium grid if possible. b. Multi-browser testing, i.e. optimize code to test against multiple browsers. 3. Visual Studio (7) a. Be comfortable with using Visual Studio IDE, its ok if the candidate is not expert user. Beginner user with some basic understanding is good too. b. Be able to debug code using IDE. c. Ms-Test experience is big plus i.e. Ms-Test with Selenium using C#. 4. Testing experience (10) 5. Powershell (5-6) a. Basic powershell understanding and scripting skills are good. 6. API testing - (5-6) 7. Test case planning (8) 8. Test case execution and bug tracking (8) 9. Appium (this is an optional, its great if the candidate has this) 10. Mobile testing – manual or using some kind of framework. Quality Automation Engineer (contract) PURPOSE OF POSITION: As the QA Automation Engineer you will work on public facing web properties such as software.dell.com. You will develop and execute automation test scripts as well as help plan and coordinate QA and UAT processes. You will also work closely with business counterparts and other technical teams during the production release process. This role reports to the IT Sr. Manager of Web Applications and is located in Aliso Viejo, CA. PRIMARY DUTIES: • Design, develop, maintain and execute test scripts for maintenance and project releases using technologies like C# and Selenium (web driver); report and track defects as needed • Collaborate with stakeholders to write test plans and test cases based on functional requirements, use cases and technical requirements; work directly with business stakeholders to clarify as needed • Coordinate and prioritize usage of the test environments (e.g. project scheduling), work with developers and UAT teams in scheduling usage • Design and develop performance load and stress tests and work closely with other teams to execute security and penetration tests • Maintain testing process and guideline documentation and work closely with the team to refine the testing process and approach on a regular basis REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field or equivalent experience • 5-7 years in a QA developer role writing and executing automated test scripts using C#, Visual Studio and JavaScript • 2+ years of working in the QA or developer role for public facing web sites • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Visual Studio, Selenium) and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for testing, bug tracking and iterative software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), PowerShell and Mobile testing • Working knowledge of web infrastructure principles; IIS, Active Directory, Networking, SSL Certificates, DNS, Load Balancers, host-headers, redirects • Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to work directly with business stakeholders as well as technical resources PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Experience with ASP.Net MVC and Web API (ver. 4) in a testing and/or development capacity • Experience maintaining and supporting high volume, public web sites • Experience with technologies like SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Akamai Thanks & Regards; SAHITYA Astir IT Solutions, Inc.
