Role: Peformance Architect/ Engineers
Location: Chicago IL Duration: Long term Client: Banking No of Positions: 2 (1 Architect & 1 Engineer) Please submit FTEs only. Contractors will not be considered. Performance Architect • Over 10 + years of IT experience in Performance Test Strategizing and Engineering activities. (Experience in BFSI is preferred) • Performs detailed project planning and project management support including work breakdown structure, estimates, status reporting and project close-out specific to performance engineering initiatives. • Manages team in their daily tasks which include project tasks, operations support tasks, and management of application performance defects and testing. • Analyzes system / application architecture seeking to identify additional testing entry points to reduce project risk • Authors or Reviews project level test strategy / plan artifacts that support the implementation of performance testing objectives such as: component / service level testing, service virtualization, user experience testing, end-to-end performance testing and communicate out the direction for performance engineering • Mitigate production performance issues effectively by taking responsibility for seeing those performance issues through resolution • Demonstrate expert level knowledge of Performance testing and Monitoring tools (like Load Runner/Performance Center, HP Loadrunner Diagnostics/HP Sitescope) • Experience on working with various technologies ¨J2EE, AJAX, .NET, Oracle • Analyze test results to identify issues, and work with architects and development to suggest improvements and drive issues to resolution. • Provides detailed status reporting, metrics and execution dashboards • Actively manages testing project risks and communicates mitigation options to business / IT stakeholders. • Interact with Bank SMEs and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead the testing engagements working with IT and Business teams • Discover thresholds and data impact. Make performance recommendations to the architects/ project teams/ developers based on results and code identifications • Participate in the constant improvement of Performance Test Automation practices • Maintain awareness and knowledge of the emerging trends in technology and apply this knowledge in establishing new and innovative technology solutions • Good to have HP Certification , but not mandatory • Should have had scripting hands experience in past or present projects Performance Test Engineer • 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Execution activities. (Experience in BFSI is preferred) • Hands-on experience on Performance testing tools (Load Runner/Performance Center) • Experience in monitoring tools like HP Loadrunner Diagnostics/HP Sitescope is preferred • Experience in various Performance testing technologies and protocols ¨(Like ¨Web/Http, Truclient etc) • Conduct performance tests, support in test results analysis and production roll out readiness • Must have good Verbal and Written communication skills • Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely and proactive manner • Maintain awareness and knowledge of the emerging trends in technology and apply this knowledge in establishing new and innovative technology solutions • Should have basic understanding of DB concepts • Having a Developer background is a plus , But not mandatory. • Should be able to clearly articulate any concerns or project gaps. -- *Thanks & Regards* *Subodh * *Param Consulting Services Inc.* 732-404-0411/0466 Ext 5562 | [email protected] | http://www.pcsionweb.com *Gtalk :* subodhparam
