Sr Test Engineer
Location - NYC, Position -1
Bachelors or Masters degree
? 8-10 years of experience in QA out of which 5+ years in Finance domain.
? Looking for strong senior hands-on QA engineer who is passionate about
technology and have experience supporting
large enterprise-wide systems in finance/accounting domain including
General Ledger or Detail Sub-Ledger.
? Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced
environment. The ideal candidate will have strong
analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and
verbal communication skills.
? Assist with test strategy articulation, planning, and management of
individual testing events
? Able to interpret business requirements into testing environment and
ensure test servers are built operationally ready for
testing
? Identify and capture test data to support the test cases
? Strong collaboration skills to work with rest of IT team to ensure tests
are effective and efficient
? Ability to work with team members and stakeholders at all levels in a
positive, service-oriented and team-affirming
manner
? Coordinating system testing with other systems test team members and
internal users
? Problem solving, risk assessment and lateral thinking ability
? Identify procedures and/or tools that will improve SQA effectiveness
? Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
? Test Tools: Ability to work with automation teams to design framwork or
test data, preparation is a plus
? Technical Skills: JAVA, SQL, real-time event processing, SOA
architecture,
