We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT
department in Bloomington, MN. This position ensures that technology
initiatives meet business requirements and function as defined. The person
in this position mitigates the risk of changes to the current production
environment by testing, coordinating, and overseeing testing issue
resolution.
This position will manage and coordinate testing activities for medium to
large projects and ensures and maintains the stability of the testing
environment to ensure testing activities are successfully completed. This
position will also resolve and coordinate testing issues with IT development
teams, vendors, and business users and will create documentation and reports
for test results and defect trends and analyze data in order to make
recommendations to management. In addition, this role will participate in
projects, ensuring the coordination of quality assurance activities in
alignment with the project plan and will work with customers and business
partners to develop test strategies and negotiate approvals.
This position requires a bachelor's degree along with at least 8 years'
experience testing and developing test scripts and scenarios and 5 years'
experience and in depth knowledge of quality assurance procedures. In
addition, 5 years' experience within a technical environment and experience
designing and implementing quality assurance standards and processes.
Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.
Additional qualifications include:
* Various testing methodology experience
* Experience with various develop methodologies (i.e. waterfall,
agile)
* Good Oracle SQL knowledge is a must
* Experience utilizing automated test tools is a plus.
