Sr Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of test plans and test cases, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, for newly integrated features, and development of tool sets to augment QA and Development testing. The individual should be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with other team members to come up with innovative solutions. The individual should have strong understanding of web technology and have extensive experience in web application testing. The individual should be skilled in test script development, test status reporting as well as knowledge with Microsoft’s TFS as test management systems. Responsibilities • Experience working using “AGILE” process management methodology • Demonstrated skill in testing enterprise distributed systems is strongly desired • Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues required • Knowledge of performance and scalability test approaches • Participate as an embedded QA Engineer on projects and develop test cases and test scripts. • Participate in the continuous effort to bring new testing knowledge into product teams with test strategy articulation, planning, execution, and management of individual testing events. • Participate in the development and support of an agile testing program aimed at supporting multiple testing efforts simultaneously.
