Communication (verbal, written); clear, concise, and able to customize to all levels of the organization (individual contributor to bu exec) 2. Experience managing large software development projects in a mixed fte/onsite/offshore staff aug model 3. Consulting polish and presence; ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of a bu 4. Experience with both waterfall and agile software development methodologies; emphasis on requirements solicitation Position Description Position is responsible for overall project management and leading cross functional teams to successfully deliver all aspects of software product release(s) to internal / external customers. Project must be delivered to budget, quality, financial, and scope standards. Project(s) generally within $6M+ range. Software projects are executed using a mix of full time employees, contractors (onshore/offshore), and consultants, candidate must have exposure to this model. Must Have’s • Resume of progressive career growth from an individual contributor to leadership roles (does not need supervisory experience) • 3-5 years experience in software project management, requirements definition, building systems solutions and/ or deployment of business requirements to product teams. • 2-3 years experience specific to software development within a mixed onsite/offshore team methodology. • Demonstrated history of success as the single point of contact for projects, leading cross functional teams. Proven ability to build consensus and cross functional collaboration • Experience with waterfall and agile software development methodologies • Effective and efficient meeting facilitation • Experience in managing project risks and issues to resolution • Experience creating and managing MS Project based project plans (or similar tool) • Thorough knowledge of SDLC, PMBOK and SDLC best practices Nice to Have’s • Track record of building organizational readiness for product launch • Track record of overcoming project adversity to meet project goals • Experience driving process improvement driving from the abstract to discrete solutions • Experience with the financial management of budgets, software capitalization models a plus Travel Ability to travel approximately up to 25% Education 4-year degree in computer science, business management, or related field or equivalent experience Thank you, Raj Lead - IT Recruiter Desk: 330 286 0387 [email protected]
