USA Citizen, Green Card, EAD. Location: Raleigh, NC. DURATION- 6 months contract to hire. Requirements: Solid background in web application development using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#. A thorough knowledge of software engineering best practices with a proven track record of implementing creative solutions both as an individual and on a team. Strong background in usability of user interfaces developed for the web or desktop environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, design patterns and development processes. Minimum of 10 years structured software development experience. Minimum of 4 years experience in relational database design and modeling using MS SQL Server. Minimum of 3 years experience in web based user interface design using ASP.NET. Minimum of 4 years experience in C#, .NET development. Minimum of 2 years experience with the Microsoft Office SDK and add-in development. Development experience with HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS and Web Services is required. Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. A thorough knowledge of software engineering best practices with a proven track record of implementing creative solutions both as an individual and on a team. By far the most important skill is the ability to work as a team player. This entails being individually productive--on time and within budget--and working with others in a creative environment to solve problems as a team. It includes team loyalty, contributing ideas, being respectful of others, and the ability to get behind a decision once it is made. Candidate must be innovative and motivated by the need to help others solve problems and get things done. Preferred Skills: Experience with the Microsoft Office development for Visio. Knowledge of Microsoft Winform GUI development using C#, .NET and Office Development tools, specifically with the Microsoft Office Development SDK. Experience with Microsoft WCF and SOA based application architectures. Additional Non-Tech Skills: In addition to the team skills described above, the candidate should have strong technical leadership qualities, and possess good technical writing, presentation, and organizational skills.
