MUST be local & face o Face interview is a must REQUIREMENT The role is responsible for leading technical efforts and strategies for managing *Informatica PowerCenter performance*, security, integrity, and developing and evangelizing the procedures to support enterprise applications and business functions. *Main Duties:* • Recommends* ETL application tuning and performance monitoring.* • Provides consultation and troubleshooting for the development team. • Establishes and maintains sound backup and recovery policies and procedures in conjunction with the Server System Administrators. • Sets up and maintains documentation and standards. • Interfaces with development and database teams for technical support. • Actively participates in, and leads industry focus groups. • Implements and maintains security. • *Provides 7X24 production support.* * • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree experience requirements:* • 7 years’ experience in* Informatica PowerCenter administration and architecture with UNIX based DB2 and/or Oracle databases and warehouses* • 5 years of experience *developing, deploying, and managing ETL architectures and solutions incorporating complex, multi-terabyte UNIX based DB2, and/or Oracle databases and data warehouses.* • Ability to demonstrate *excellent verbal and written English communication skills.* • Ability to work independently and with a team under minimal supervision. • Ability to *sit for an extended period of time.* • Ability to view a monitor for an extended period of time. • Ability to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information. • Knowledge of and* ability to use SQL and Project* • Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills • Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills. • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. • Ability to take after hour calls. • Experience with other Informatica products such as *Master Data Management (MDM), Big Data Edition, Data Quality and/or Data Integration a plus.* • Experience with* Big Data solutions such as Hadoop a plus.* *__________ Warm regards* *SAHITYA (TECHNICAL RECRUITER)* *eDataForce Consulting LLC* *Direct: 972.782.9889 * *Fax: 972.281.3328* *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *www.edataforce.com* <http://www.edataforce.com/> *Office Address: 4500 Fuller Drive, #125, Irving, TX 75038*
