REQUIREMENT *The Senior System Architect *is responsible for designing creative, scalable systems and software solutions for Billing, Offers, Order Management and Middleware (BOOM) systems supporting the B2C and B2B Marketing team initiatives/projects insideClient . *The Senior Systems Architect *will lead complex and strategic projects and will provide architecture guidance and solutions to our business partners in Marketing, Channel Management, B2B, B2C, Customer Delivery and many others to execute strategic business and EIT projects. Senior Architect will contribute to defining and maintaining architecture and technology standards and best practices for applications within their domain and related domains such as, middleware, databases and including both in-house development as well as third-party applications. Provide guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with the standards and best practices. Evaluate and recommend technologies and techniques for applicability to T-Mobile systems. *Responsibilities* *Job Duties and Responsibilities * • Serve as Lead or Contributing Architect on multiple strategic projects representing and driving architectural design deliverables for Revenue and Customer Management systems – including Billing, Equipment installment plans, third party billing, and customer management / customer MDM applications • Work closely with the business during ideation and vision stages of new projects – helping define solution options to drive business case development prior to project funding and start-up • Provide architectural assessments and work-effort estimates for the business and routinely as part of the project intake process for our architecture team • Design solutions in-line with architecture roadmaps across systems involving multiple projects of high complexity, coordinating across many technical teams. • Responsible and accountable for the solution designs all the way to deployment. • Create scalable, extensible designs that are easy to implement and perform and follow architecture standards for IT system design and enable success for IT teams. • Proactively identify, address and escalate (if needed) when solutions are overly-complex or will compromise implementation. • Ensure solution is a right-fit for the systems in the Revenue and Customer Management System domain areas – requires knowledge of many system types and functions • Communicate solution designs clearly in multiple modes of communication – drawings, documents • Responsible to identify, analyze and design technical systems integration points across a broad range of systems and anticipate impacts Revenue and Customer Management applications. • Work with the Business to define and refine requirements that will drive efficiencies and ROI in the business, while managing the technical impacts and trade-offs analysis • Work with Business Partners, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Architects and end- users to understand and document system requirements for data, SLAs/Service Levels, User Experience, Archiving/legal requirements, training, data governance, and performance. • Translates business requirements into system impacts, functional requirements and functional specifications. • Work with the systems analysts (SAs), architects and developers of applications in the domain to translate requirements into operational technical specifications and ensure designs are scalable, extensible, repeatable and can be implemented with ease. • Attend project leadership meetings and help drive decisions and technical execution across multiple IT teams. • Plan, facilitate, and drive success of working sessions with cross-functional resources. • Plan, facilitate, and drive success of knowledge transfer and training sessions with cross-functional resources. • Ability to conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created. *Qualifications* Minimum • Hands-on architect role experience leading designs for large and complex projects • Ericsson billing / CES or other billing experience required • Oracle Customer Hub MDM, Siebel 8.X, or other MDM or CRM experience required • 8 years or multiple implementations across full SDLC for one or more of these applications • 8 years experience with or commensurate number of implementations of telecommunications Billing, Customer Systems – either MDM or CRM required • Working knowledge of multiple middleware and web services technologies such as Tibco, SAP PI required • Experience working in a SOA environment and distributed architectures • Expert at creating architectural design drawings, topologies in multiple media – such as Visio, Power Point and other visual communication methods • Advanced writing and communication skills for developing position papers and leading/driving other architectural discussions • Telecom or communications industry knowledge/experience strongly preferred *Preferred * • Systems knowledge and/or functional experience with the following: network usage, rating, charging, mediation, billing, payments, charges, adjustments, third party billing and services, customer profile management, credit processes and any other related customer interaction dependent systems, services, interfaces, UIs, or APIs. • Working knowledge of writing SQL • Working knowledge of logical and physical database design and implementation • Demonstrated working knowledge architecture process and UML tools and methods such as: Sparx, IBM Rational System Architect, Erwin ER diagrams, state modeling, process decomposition and use case scenarios • Familiarity with architecture process and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman • Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of the system development life cycle and can train others on SDLC concepts • Demonstrates thorough working knowledge to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, create deliverables and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion • Exceptional architecture communication skills – architecture drawings and writing skills in communicating clear and unambiguous deliverables and architecture designs. • Excellent communication skills and drive required, with focus on results, delivery, and customer satisfaction Education • Minimum 4-year degree in computer science or related discipline • Technology certifications (such as Java, Microsoft, Oracle) a plus *__________ Warm
