*QA Engineer in Cary, NC*
Going to have multiple openings • Agile environment • Need strong communication skills *• Ideally – local to NC is best* *• Will do offers off in person’s or webex. * *Primary Responsibilities* • Translate business requirements effectively to technical test requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test steps • Execute test scenarios for multiple projects • Write test plans, define test data requirements, oversee execution of test cases, facilitate triage of defects found, and ensure thorough retest of defects through resolution. • Log defects/issues and work with the test lead to ensure resolution • Track test execution to planned test schedule to ensure timely delivery of multiple testing deliverables • Interact effectively with peers, management and cross functional teams to address and resolve issues • Suggests alternative methods and procedures for solving problems and improving product and process quality • Identify risks and offer mitigation plans to ensure quality • Run and/or update QuickTest Pro test automation scripts • Develop and maintain high standards of quality for our application through managing QA processes and procedures • Develop knowledge of the business unit’s mission, goals, products, services and applications • Lead a team of QA Engineers • Ability to mentor and coach QA associates hands-on *Education and Experience* • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline. • 10+ years of hands-on enterprise software QA engineering, analysis, and testing experience • 2-3 yrs of experience leading a small team • Proven expertise and success with QA automation tools such as HP QuickTest Pro • Experience in testing web applications, Mobile Apps and WebServices • Experience with writing SQL queries • Familiarity with Fidelity trading applications a plus • Familiarity with SOAP UI a plus • Strong understanding of defect tracking tools - (Quality Center a plus) *Skills and Knowledge* • Strong understanding and QA engineering, analysis, and testing • Strong technical understanding of SW development and project life cycle • Experience with Agile software development methodology • Ability to drive the resolution of escalated issues in an effective manner • Ability to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational and regional boundaries, with the ability to initiate and manage change. • Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment • Ability to work seamlessly with business partners and systems teams • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Solid leadership, management and communication skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, will interact with cross functional management including the executive team Regards, Chandra Shekar Kotta *eCloud Labs Inc* 517 Route 1 South, Suite 3636, Iselin, NJ - 08830 Phone: *732-358-6868* Xtn: 114 Gtalk: *accmgrinusa* Email: [email protected]
