*Position : Business Analyst with Information security and data classification.* *Location : Columbia, SC * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone/ Skype (F2F if Locals)* Must have experience with *Information security and data classification.* The ideal candidate will have experience specifically within the public sector, preferably State or local government. *Job Responsibilities:* · Reporting to the chief and deputy privacy officers within the enterprise privacy office, agencies in completing data classification, analyses of data discovery tool findings, and resolution of privacy impact assessment mitigation plans. · Under the guidance of the enterprise privacy office, provide analytical support to agencies. · Develop and execute project plans, and assist with the preparation of project-related reports. · Initiate and conduct activities supporting information privacy awareness and implementation of best practices. * Job Requirement* • Basic understanding of *information security and privacy.* • Ability to think critically, recognize potential problems, and apply new information in context. • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills to drive projects to closure. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in ms word, excel and power point. • Ability to work independently, appropriately prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Preferred Skills (Rank in order of importance):* • Understanding of the Client’s data classification schema • Experience applying privacy principles to business processes. • Familiarity with information privacy principles and federal privacy legislation. • Experience in a government work environment. *Required Education/certifications:* • Bachelor’s degree, plus 4 years’ experience in project management ,information security, or business management. *Preferred Education/certifications:* • Master’s degree • International association of privacy professionals (iapp) or comparable certification. *Regards,* *Ankush Nirala* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221,Cornwell Dr, Bear,DE* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone No: 302-261-3207 Ext- 111*
