Role : *Teradata DBA* Location : IL or OH Duration : 7+ months Rate : $60/hr Job Description • Designs, tests, implements, maintains, and secures the organization's production and non-production Teradata databases in a high-volume OLAP environment, utilizing state of the art concepts, employing leading-edge maintenance techniques to maximize Application availability. • Collaborates on the development of technical and security standards with other database administrators and technical resources. • Provides consultation to Application Developers on: - Teradata processing features / parameters - Teradata Utility / BAR usage - Teradata Security features / related implementations - Teradata DDL deployments • Proficiency in Teradata v15 • Experience in DDL, SQL and PL/SQL. • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting.
