Duration: 6+ Months Interview Process: Phone Screen and In Person Only US CITIZEN *Job description/summary - * - Sets up, configures, and supports internal, external, and disaster recovery networks. - Develops and maintains security and network configurations. - Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. - Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. - Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications. - Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and maintain internal and external networks. - Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. - Provides technical support and guidance to users and team members. Requirements: - Possess competencies and demonstrated technical education/expertise in Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) engineering. - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); although a CCNP is preferred. - 2-5 years direct experience with Cisco Nexus switches and VPC. - 2-5 years direct experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and High Availability. - 2-5 years direct experience with Cisco ASR routers and Catalyst 3850 stacking switches. - 2-5 years direct experience implementing and maintaining OSPF, HSRP, and BGP. - 2-5 years direct experience with network monitoring and configuration tools such as Solarwinds NPM and Cisco ASDM. - 1-2 years direct experience with Tenable Nessus scanning preferred but not required. - 2-5 years hands on experience with VPN solutions; Juniper and Pulse Secure preferred. - Experience with Microsoft Visio and excellent network documentation skills. - Possess strong problem-solving skills as they relate to analysis for isolation of complex issues. - Any of the following IT certifications are also desirable for this position: CCSP, CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+, ITIL. *Thanks and Regards,* Shaik IT Recruiter *|* National Consulting Group Inc. 15 Corporate Place South, Suite - 419, Piscataway, NJ 08854, USA.
