In need of a DBA who has both good Oracle and SQL experience, with experience in *migrating Oracle databases to SQL, data scrubbing, ETL, and data cleanup*. • Looking for someone who can work independently and hit the ground running. *Description of Duties: * • Database Maintenance Oracle - 30% of Total Work Effort • Database Maintenance SQL Server - 40% of Total Work Effort • Support Development Staff (data movement/database creation & replication, etc.) - 25% of Total Work Effort • Support non-development staff (logins, data pulls, general info) - 5% of Total Work Effort • Oracle on Linux (proficiency) – Expert skill level/5+ yrs exp. • SQL Server (proficiency) - Advanced skill level/5+ yrs exp. • Linux - Intermediate skill level/3+ yrs exp. • Windows Server - Intermediate skill level/5+ yrs exp. • T-SQL - Advanced skill level/3+ yrs exp. (administrative duties only) • Linux shell scripting - Advanced skill level/3+ yrs exp. (Will be required to maintain current environment and also convert to windows in future) • Spotlight - beginner - Used to monitor systems/database metrics • SQL Developer/Toad - Intermediate skill level/3+ yrs exp.
