*Position : Android Developer * *Location : **Atlanta, GA* *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview: Phone then Face to Face* *Job Discription* His group works across all of the Cox Auto companies (Kelly Blue Book, Autotrader, Manheim, Dealertrack, all of the startups in the “cox auto incubator”, etc.) to gather requirements on mobile applications and then build native MOBILE applications. His team runs in a very start up manner (he says people come and interview and are afraid of the corporation feel and then get to his group and are right at home!)- AKA they run very lean, fast and agile, and he is looking for these people to be thrive in that environment. *MUST Have Skills :* · (4+ Years) Expertise in Android SDKs, DDMS and frameworks. You know Android inside and out! · Published apps in Google Play, or enterprise Apps available for review · Heavy UI experience creating custom adaptors, composite views, animation transitions, and XML drawables to build reusable fragments for phones & tablets on multiple screen sizes and resolutions. · Experience developing, releasing, supporting, and evolving an Android application framework · Deep OOD/OOP skills coupled with several years building successful Android applications *JOB Responsibilities:* · Develop new or maintain existing mobile programs based on specifications · Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of programs · Participate in the design of new or changing programs · Participate in functional test planning and testing for the assigned applications, functional areas or projects · Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned applications, functional areas or projects · Share knowledge by effectively documenting work · Stay current with changes in the technical area of expertise · Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects · Work with the team to ensure the quality of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects · Respond quickly/effectively to production issues by taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution · Proactively serve as a troubleshooting resource and subject matter expert across the team · Guide debugging, testing, and performance tuning of other engineer's Android apps · Participate and lead reviews of other engineer’s code *Job Requirement:* · 4+ Years expertise in Android SDKs, DDMS and frameworks.
