Let me know availability & interest, and help me with Updated Resume, along with Best Hourly Rate Expectations, at your earliest convenience. *ETL Developer SSIS SQL Server* *Round Lake, IL (Local Candidate)* USC and GC only *Required Skills* • Experience migrating SQL 2005 to 2012/2014 • 8+ years of ETL development experience, using Microsoft SQL 2005, 2012 Server Integration Services (SSIS). • Thorough knowledge of SSIS components with a broad range of experience transforming data from CSV files, XML files, and common relational database sources and destinations. Serves as the subject matter expert on ETL development techniques. • Hands-on development experience with Transact-SQL, including stored procedure development. Hands-on experience tuning SQL using SQL Profiler and execution plan analysis. • Strong knowledge of relational database logical and physical design concepts and practices including 3rd normal form models, star schemas, multi-dimensional cubes, and Microsoft tabular data models. Preferred Skills • Working knowledge of Master Data Management concepts and practices. • Strong skills in TSQL development, SQL Server 2005, 2012/2014 • Strong skills in SSIS • Strong skills in SSRS • Moderate skills in Oracle, PL/SQL • Moderate skills in AS400 *Responsibilities* • Migration of the Database from SQL Server 2005 to 2012/2014 • To develop, primarily using SQL Server Integration Services packages – SQL server 2012, ETL processes to move and transform data based on defined data architectures. Works with Stored procedures, user defined functions to perform the required data movement/transformations. • Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data. • Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations. Prepare data mapping and transformation rule documentation. • Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.
