*Interview Process*
- Initial phone interview
- Follow-up in-person interview required
- Interview with up to four different audiences
*Primary Responsibilities*
- Develop and carry out a communications strategy and plan for the SMO
- Lead organizational change management (OCM) efforts for the SMO
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound communications to/from the SMO
- Conduct roadshows to communicate and advance the vision/mission of the
SMO
- Coordinate within the SMO to ensure all activities are conducted in
accordance with the SMO charter, goals, and objectives
- Transform and maintain SMO/ITSM portal site
- Develop, coordinate, and/or deliver training related to:
- ITIL/ITSM overview and best practice training
- Individual and team training as requested for the ITSM platform
- SMO related processes, including but not limited to:
- Problem
- Knowledge
- Request
- Support Team Training (Incident/Request fulfiller roles)
- Service Desk
- Recurring ITSM platform (ServiceNow) Q&A sessions
- Knowledge Librarian activities, including:
- Create knowledge articles from within the PMO/SMO domain
- Manage requests for knowledge from the PMO/SMO domain
- Conduct technical and quality reviews for knowledge articles
created from the PMO/SMO domain
- Administrative duties for the SMO including:
- Coordinate schedule for team meetings and events
- Capture meeting minutes and follow up on action item progress
- Compile SMO analysis, reports and presentations as directed
- Compile ITIL/ITSM industry research & benchmarking data
- Compile association related ITIL/ITSM research & benchmarking data
- Coordinate surveys internal to clients regarding ITIL/ITSM
effectiveness
*Required Skills*
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, IT or related field, or
equivalent work experience.
- ITIL Foundations certification or commitment to obtain
- Organizational Change Management experience
- Training coordination experiences - demonstrated ability to build out
user training
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Extroverted, confident personality to establish and maintain internal
and external relationships
- Creative and artistic as pertains to compelling means to communicate
and present content
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral, written, and multiple
digital media channels
- Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences or executive staff
- Proficiency with productivity tools, including MS Office
- Proficiency managing content with MS SharePoint
- The ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with those
not in the direct management chain
- Excellent organizational skills
*Preferred Skills*
- Any ITIL intermediate certifications
- Previous experience with enterprise-class IT Service Management (ITSM)
tools
- Prior Health insurance industry exposure
- Prior experience in a training creation/delivery capacity
- Demonstrated understanding of OCM Methodologies, such as Kotter’s
8-Step Change Model
